  1. Do I need to own a drone before attending the course?

    No, you do not need to own a UAS/drone unit before attending the course. We will provide the necessary equipment (including drones) for training purposes.

  2. What type of drones will I be using during the training?

    Our training drones are currently multirotor/quadcopter. The exact brand / model are that are commonly used and commercially available namely:

    • DJI Phantom 4 Pro+ v2
    • DJI Mavic 2 Pro

    As we progress, we will introduce and utilize the best (different) suited drone types for the specific requirements needed for the different training scenarios and outcomes.

  3. Does attending this drone course automatically earn me a license by CAAM?

    The short answer is no. Attending the RCoC - B or RCoC (EVLOS) Module 1 earns you a Remote Pilot Certificate of Competency in the course category that you have completed.

    As our syllabus is approved by the Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia, participants of this course are on the right path for this purpose.

  4. Is the certificate obtained recognized internationally or just by the Malaysia Government?

    The certificate is currently recognized and endorsed by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia only.
